WEARING CONTACT LENSES SAFELY

Contact lenses can be safely worn, while preventing possible contamination by following the proper care instructions you received from your eye care professional, they include thorough washing, cleaning, and drying of your hands before handling contact lenses.

See below for more information.

Cleaning and care

Whether you wear one-day contact lenses or contact lenses for a scheduled replacement, maintaining proper hygiene when handling lenses is more important than ever. As always, wash your hands with antibacterial soap and water before putting on or removing contact lenses.

If you are sick

It is recommended to wear glasses instead of contact lenses until you feel better, because your eyes may be more sensitive during this period, and it is possible that you will sleep more. Sleeping with contact lenses on is not recommended. If you wear one-day contact lenses, discard them as usual after a single use. If you are wearing contact lenses for a scheduled replacement, it is recommended that you start with a new pair after the disease has occurred to ensure that unwanted microbes do not remain on the surface of your contact lenses.
